The garden, largely built by Manuel Pedro Guedes, a man touched by French culture and influenced by the art of English gardens, consists of a large forest with winding paths, with large areas of shade, tree ferns, acer, acacias, American oaks, eucalyptus, rhododendrons, cork oaks, redwoods, oaks, sycamores, large-flowered magnolias, cedars, virginia tulips, garden cherry trees and a great profusion of camellias and azaleas, a constant with many varieties throughout the garden.

Quinta da Aveleda is composed of romantic gardens, full of secular trees, among which redwoods, cork oaks and almost 100 species of camel trees stand out. The paths intertwine and cross between chalets, the lake and other places where special moments can be created.

With more than 150 ha, walled in its 12ha of forest and gardens, in land surrounded by vineyards, its main agricultural activity, the estate is impressive for its large dimensions.
