Day 2

Porto

Today, you will enjoy a private cultural and historical full day tour of Porto.

Porto is a charming town, situated on the slopes of the Douro River. Classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, thanks to its beautiful monuments and historic buildings such as the imposing Cathedral and the Tower of Clerics, Porto is the second largest city of Portugal with superb views over the river and the world-famous Port Wine Cellars on the opposite bank, in Vila Nova de Gaia. The city provides a harmonious synthesis of ancient and contemporary attractions.  

To end your day, indulge in a visit to the Ferreira Port Wine Lodge, where you’ll learn about the art of port wine making. Then, savor a Michelin-starred dining experience at Restaurant Antiqvvm, crafted by Chef Vítor Matos, for an unforgettable culinary journey.

Guimarães - Amarante

Douro Valley

Then, explore Monsaraz at your own pace, a charming medieval village perched on a hilltop with cobblestone streets, stunning views of the Alqueva Lake, and a rich history waiting to be discovered. Take your time to wander through its narrow alleys, admire its ancient castle, and enjoy the serene atmosphere.

Day 10

Lisbon - Belém

Today, you will embark on a delightful food walking tour through Lisbon’s Old Town, where you’ll sample the city’s iconic flavors, from delicious pastéis de nata to savory petiscos. Explore hidden gems and local markets, all while learning about Lisbon’s culinary traditions and history.

After lunch, we invite you to visit the historic quarter of Belém. The visit can be self-guided or an official guide can do the visit with you. If you wish to have a more historical insight into the area.
