Nazare was the best way to start our trip: gorgeous weather, gorgeous day, stunning views, amazing food along the beach, great shopping. When we got to our hotel, we were very impressed with the staff, accommodations, bar and restaurant. The river cruise in Douro was amazind, what a lovely day. We motored up the river with our guide, sitting on the deck, drinking the wine he offered us. The Quinta where we stoped is a beautiful winery with an amazing view of the river. The tour was very educational. Lunch was delicious and so was the wine. All the staff were incredibly helpful and pleasant.

We had a wonderful time in Portugal! We loved the hotel in Douro, it had wonderful meals. We also loved both outings and the guides. We also really enjoyed the sunset sail, both the captain and the boat were terrific. We had a great time in Comporta: loved the hotel and the horseback riding on the beach. All in all, a 10 plus trip.

We thoroughly enjoyed the trip! Everything was seamless and we especially loved the lunch spot in Cascais. We also loved the sidecar tour, the sunset sail and the Lisbon tour.

Portugal was fantastic. We loved the way our itinerary fell into place with Porto being first. Douro was absolutely worth spending time in person. The catamaran ride in Algarve was definitely my boat adventure of choice. Lisbon struck us as the hub of modern Portuguese culture. We’re really glad you helped us put this trip together.

I must say, the entire trip exceeded our expectations! Edgar kept checking in on us almost daily! He got us the best dinner reservation on our last night with a lovely couple who own this great restaurant in Lisbon. So overall, we loved everything and cannot wait to go back. You really were able to provide us with a vacation that we will never forget!! Thank you so much!

We have had a trip of a lifetime!!! Had a glorious boat tour of the Algarve yesterday. It was fabulous. The boat was the nicest in the harbor and they obviously go to great lengths keeping it clean. They had the most modern and comfortable amenities (on board and for off board (i.e paddle boards and food/champagne). We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Choice of restaurants was great, all different and beautiful places. The program on Friday was very nice and we got a good idea of Portugal (and that in 1 day). The fado performance was great, everybody appreciated this and for a lot it was the first time! Hotel was very nice, clean, large rooms and very cosy sportsbar. Friendly personnel and flexible with opening hours sports bar. All details were taken care of, even during dinners. Good cooperation regarding departure times busses, communication via the flipchart and giving suggestions for nightlife. So, very very pleased with you Paula. You made our trip even nicer and we felt very taken care of! Even in the few days we spent in Lissabon besides attending the Websummit, I really feel like we got to see a lot of Lissabon and its surrounding. It felt like true luxury to get to sit down in a bus and get shown around and being dropped off at all these pretty locations. One of the highlights for me definitely was the tram tour and the walking tour through the city. I really had a good time!! I cannot think of any recommendations anymore. It was great, an A+! Paula is the best, by the way!!!

The most memorable part of the trip was the private wine tour which was absolutely perfect. The Carvalhas Vineyard was spectacular and very informative. Their dedication to the development of their property and their wine is very impressive. The visit to the Vinho Douro region was an unforgettable experience. There is little that we would change on our trip.
